Everyone interested in starting scouts is welcome to come and join in our activities and try it out.  Scouting offers a "Three for Free" program where new chums (potential new scouts) can attend 3 Scout meetings without any cost.  New chums are still covered by Scout personal insurance just as if they were registered Scouts.

We do ask parents of all new chums to come and meet the Group Leader and section leader (Joey/Cub/Scout as applicable) and find out about what Scouting is all about, what Scouting will do for your child and what is expected of your family. 

At that meeting we will also ask you to complete a membership form that will provide us with the necessary contact information we require and the authority to look after your child while at Scouts.  No fees are required until you decide to register your child with the Association.
