Held at Gilwell Park Gembrook, Cuboree was be a fun-filled week-long adventure for Cub Scouts from 5th City og Brunswick and several of their Dads who are going as Adult Support personnel.

Cuboree ran from 31st March to 4th April. Read on for more information and pictures...

Nine Cub Scouts and two parents braved the elements at Gilwell, Gembrook for the 5th Cuboree.

Poss and Karella were involved with another section of the Cuboree, which meant that we were unable to camp with our own Pack.  We are all indebted to Paul Vasilopoulos and George Georgiadis for supporting this activity, obtaining their Police Clearance and Working with Children card, and then taking some of their holidays to be with the Pack.

The camp was hit by the tail end of Cyclone Pancho and a number of tents were damaged by the high winds and falling trees.  Our tents received enough damage to be unworthy of repair.  As usual with children we have had very little feedback from them about the camp, except that they missed a out on some of the activities and that they were hungry.

A very big "Thank you" to Paul and George!

If any one would like to submit their pictures for this section, please contact Tony.
