Given the small patrol, camp organisers decided to merge 5th Brunswick with another patrol comprising scouts from 3rd Williamstown and 4th Footscray to make a good-sized patrol of seven scouts. Everybody got along very well and worked as a first class patrol. Evidence for this is that they took home a Gold Award for their weekend's camping. Well done everybody!

This year the Scouts went to Stradbroke Cup at Eumeralla to be with the friends they made at AJ2007 - 2nd Lara and 5th Northcote.

It was a pleasant change from Treetops, but some of the Scouts considered that the facilities were not up to the required standard and that 2008 will be back at Treetops.

Australian National Jamboree 2007

Most scouts only ever get to attend one jamboree and this was one event they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Steph, Lola, Alley and Gabe worked hard for a long time to prepare themselves for the 2 week camp that will see them grow and put in to practice all the skills they have developed as scouts. Australian Jamboree 2007 (AJ2007) went off without a hitch and all scouts returned in one piece - tired, dusty and happy.

Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and made loads of new friends. Well done guys!
