When: Thursdays at 6.30pm — 7.30pm, during school terms.
We meet at the Scout Hall in Weston Street, East Brunswick, but are also often out and about at parks etc. Joey Scouts can start from when they are 5 years old and enrolled at school and transition to Cub Scouts between the age of 8 and 9.
The focus of Scouts in general is to get kids outdoors, in their community and having fun. Some of the activities we have planned for this year are camps and sleepovers, abseiling, canoeing, bushwalking and bike riding. The program is youth led and this year the Joeys have chosen themes around construction, environment and even flying around the world while we were in lockdown.
